I was in Dillon for the divisional wrestling tournament on Friday and Saturday- so why not do a statewide radio show from there Friday morning?

We had a great time at the Angler Village Inn in Dillon- talking about everything from Montana beef, to Beaverhead Bikes, and some great coffee. We also got to catch up with local legislators from the area like MT Rep. Shannon Maness and MT State Sen. Tony Tezak and other local legends like TJ Nelson, who I ran into at the wrestling tournament as well. (By the way, the YMCA gym in Dillon is INCREDIBLE...TJ was telling me about it at the coffee shop)

Big thanks to the Angler Village Inn for hosting the show- what a great spot. And yes, the coffee and the roast beef wrap I had were incredible. Big thanks to Cris Lagunas with 82 Coffee for dropping in and for bringing Matt Madsen with Beaverhead Bikes as well- we enjoyed hearing about the local bike trails and the history of skimo which will be featured in this year's winter olympics.

As you can tell by the photos below, we came back with some great beef jerky from Reminisce Angus Ranch and some incredible Cattle Baron Cigars too. (All of which can be found at the Angler Village Inn by the way)

A couple of very interesting takeaways that I had from chatting with Bryan Mussard from Reminisce Angus were this: 1. He's got 6,000 calves at their feedlot right now. Because of the warmer winter so far, he says the calves are averaging an additional 2 pounds compared to the normal winter. 2. He talked about a VERY interesting idea when it comes to ag finance and lower operating loans (4% or even all the way down to 1%).

The full audio w/ Bryan Mussard can be heard in the 9a hour below. For full Dillon show audio check out all 4 hours from Friday.
