The infamous holiday decorations, known by locals as 'Christmas Spiders' will be hoisted up on Main Street this week ahead of the Christmas Stroll on Saturday, December 7.
Details About Installation of 'Christmas Spiders' in Bozeman
Main Street will be closed from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 3 while the Bozeman Fire Department installs holiday decorations. Residents are asked to avoid the area, and not park downtown during that time.
Since the early 70s, the Bozeman Fire Department has been a part of the beloved Bozeman tradition and helps hang the lights and decorations. Thankfully, cranes and boom trucks have made installing the decorations much easier. Each year, the 'Christmas Spiders' are installed the week of Bozeman's annual Christmas Stroll, which is known as Bozeman's greatest holiday tradition.
The Christmas Stroll is scheduled for this Saturday, December 7 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year, Bozeman will be celebrating its 44th Christmas Stroll. Santa Claus is will be there, and downtown Bozeman will be filled with the magic of the holiday season. A variety of local businesses and vendors will be set up at the Christmas Stroll, and you won't want to miss it.
The holiday season is one of the best times of the year in Bozeman, and the Christmas Spiders are popular holiday tradition. Santa Claus will light up the decorations on Saturday at the Christmas Stroll.
