Locals Rave About This Awesome Pizza Place in Big Sky
If you visit Big Sky and happen to be craving a delicious slice of pizza, you're in luck. I recently had a great experience at a restaurant that needs to be on your radar.
Big Sky is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts during the summer and winter, and this past weekend, the small town was packed with Dave Matthews fans who were attending the annual Wildlands Festival.

I attended the Friday and Saturday night shows with my brother and a group of his close friends, and we had dinner at an awesome pizza parlor. It was so good that we ended up returning on the second night.

I don't spend much time in Big Sky, but I might have to make another trip soon just for the pizza. Milkie's Pizza & Pub, located in the West Fork Meadow of Big Sky serves up some of the best pizza I've ever had.

We ordered the Milkie Combo, the Hawaiian, and the Pepper Jelly, and each one was delicious.
My personal favorite was the Pepper Jelly pizza, which includes caramelized onions, spicy sausage, and pepper jelly. In addition to great pizza, the beer was ice-cold and cheap. You really can't beat that combination.
It's owned by Van Burton, a longtime Big Sky resident who opened the restaurant in 1994. It's not a place you'd expect to find in the area, amongst all of the modern additions.
If you're planning on hitting the trails or slopes in Big Sky anytime soon, do yourself a favor and stop by Milkie's. You can thank me later.
