Have you heard of these institutions?
Popular Sandwich Shops in Montana
Sandwiches are simple, delicious, and affordable. Who doesn't enjoy a sandwich?
It doesn't matter whether you prefer a sub style or a classic sandwich, because you can enjoy one anywhere in Montana. Several incredible restaurants across the state offer unique and delicious sandwiches for customers.
The most popular sandwich spots in Montana include places like Taglaire Delicatessen in Missoula. Their sandwiches have classic rock bands or artists' names; we highly recommend the Megadeath or the Beach Boys.
You also have The Pickle Barrel in Bozeman. This sandwich shop has been a local staple for college students and the community for decades. You can't go wrong here.
The Block in Great Falls specializes in fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches. You can customize or grab something off their menu. The Big Pig isn't for the faint of heart; you might need a nap after.
We all love these sandwich spots, but we also frequent sandwich franchises like Jersey Mike's and Firehouse Subs.
That got us thinking, what other sandwich shops would be a hit in Montana?
We asked some of our coworkers and came up with a few ideas.
Three Sandwich Shops That Would Work in Montana
What's the best part of these regionally popular sandwich spots? They don't only serve sandwiches.
1. Sheetz
Sheetz is an East Coast institution. They are known as gas stations, but they also offer some of the best sandwiches you will enjoy.
Sheetz could be a competitor to Town Pump, and with their deep food menu and gas savings, it would be a game-changer.
2. Publix
Publix is a Southeast chain of grocery stores that doubles as one of the most popular spots to grab a sandwich. They have classic deli sandwiches, but their claim to fame is their chicken tender subs.
My coworker, who formerly lived in Florida, said their sandwiches are affordable and some of the best you can have in your life.
3. Wawa
Another food spot and gas station franchise is a Pennsylvania staple. Wawa is known to have the best sandwiches in the state.
Their expansive menu is something you don't often see at a gas station, and could be a perfect stop on a road trip.
Out of these three franchises, which one would you like to see in Montana?
