One Of the Most Affordable Ski Resorts Is In Montana
If you need to buy a lift ticket, rent equipment, and find a place to stay, it can get expensive unless you check out this Montana ski resort.
If there is one activity many Montanans and visitors enjoy during the winter, it's hitting the slopes. It doesn't matter if you are a skier or snowboarder because there are plenty of ski areas to enjoy in Montana.
Montana has a good mix of ski areas and resorts for people to enjoy. The only problem is if you are new to skiing or snowboarding, it can be very costly. Not everyone can afford skis, snowboards, boots, or a day pass.
All those things can add up, especially if you want to experience one of Montana's many fantastic ski resorts.
If you are looking to save some money and want an incredible ski resort experience, we have some fantastic news. Forbes made a list of the 10 Most Affordable Ski Resorts in the United States, and Montana had one resort land on the list.
Landing at #10 on the list was Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Forbes broke the list into several categories, including single-day tickets, rentals, accommodations, airfare, and car rental.
Whitefish Mountain Resort is one of the most underrated ski resorts in the Pacific Northwest, and even though their single-day passes seem high, the rental prices for gear are incredibly affordable.
Plus, Whitefish is a fun and unique ski town.
How did the other Montana ski resorts fare? Bridger Bowl almost made the Top 10 list at #11, and Big Sky Resort sadly was near the bottom at #34. That means they are one of the more expensive ski resorts in America.
