Why are these fans like this?

We can be intense, but we aren't like this.

Sports are massive in Big Sky Country.
Youth, high school, and collegiate sports dominate the Montana landscape.
There are a few independent baseball teams, but we don't have any professional teams in the state.
Many Montanans have random affiliations to NFL, NHL, and MLB teams due to family or other ties, but most locals love watching local sports.
Montana's biggest event is the Brawl of the Wild football game between Montana State and the University of Montana.
Bobcat and Griz fans can be intense, but they will never be worse than these supporters.
The Los Angeles Dodgers
Every league has a team that people are bandwagon fans for.
Bandwagon fans are folks who suddenly cheer for a successful team.
Teams like the Dallas Cowboys and the Golden State Warriors are prime examples of bandwagon fans.
These days, many new bandwagon MLB fans love the Los Angeles Dodgers.
It makes sense.
The Dodgers are always shown on TV, have high-paid stars, and consistently win.
What's the problem? Their fans are the worst.

Proper Fan Etiquette
I have traveled to many events where I am rooting for the opposite team and have never experienced the sheer vulgar attitude of Dodger fans.
Also, they are poor sports.
Dodger fans showed up late for a crucial NLCS matchup against the New York Mets and started to leave in the 3rd inning when they were down.
You wouldn't see Bobcat or Griz fans leave in the first quarter of a football game. That's dumb.
There are sports fanatics in Montana, but we treat others like human beings.
Maybe one day they will have some class.
