  • COLD FRONT: Arrives Friday night, bringing a shift from southwest to strong west to northwest winds.
  • WIND: Southwest gusts 20 to 35 mph in the afternoon and evening, locally stronger along the western foothills where gusts are expected to exceed 50 mph by Friday evening.
  • West to northwest winds gusting near 50 mph are expected behind the frontal passage late Friday night through Saturday morning.
