Montana Viewers Get Another Halftime Option During Super Bowl 2026
Who doesn’t love a good concert lineup? Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett all on one stage sounds like a pretty solid night of music. And yes, this concert is happening. But as with many things lately, there is a tons of controversy mixed in.
On February 8, 2026, millions of people across the country, including plenty of folks here in Montana, will be parked in front of TVs watching the Super Bowl. Sports bars will be packed, wings will be flying, and halftime will once again be a major talking point. This year, Turning Point USA is offering an alternative to the official halftime show with what they are calling the All American Halftime Show.
The concert is set to air around the same time as the Super Bowl halftime performance and will feature a lineup that leans heavily into country and rock. According to organizers, the goal is to celebrate faith, family, and freedom while giving viewers another option if the NFL halftime show is not their thing.
Kid Rock made one statement: "We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath...Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?"
The official halftime show will be headlined by Bad Bunny, a choice that has drawn criticism from some corners and sparked plenty of online debate. That debate is exactly why this alternative show exists.
