Powerful Montana Woman Makes History At 2024 Golden Globes

It's not often that someone from Montana receives an award like a Golden Globe. But for one Montana woman, not only did she receive a Golden Globe, she also made history by being the first Indigenous Woman to receive the award.

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday, January 7th and Lily Gladstone made headlines for her incredible role in the drama, Killers of the Flower Moon.

Gladstone who grew up with split time between Seattle and the Blackfeet Reservation, here in Montana, showed class and gratefulness as she accepted an award of a lifetime. With hopes of this opening up the door for more indigenous women to feel empowered, Gladstone made it very clear she is proud of who she is and where she came from.

Some other winners of the 2024 Golden Globes were not surprising at all. With well known leading casts, the night was filled with our favorite actors and actresses getting some well deserved recognition.

Of course everyone is always wanting to see some of the best and worst dressed celebrities during these awards show. I am always amused at some of the outfits put together for these "A-list" attention seekers, and I don't mean amused in a good way.
