Free Admission To This Loved Montana Must-See Coming Soon
When you first come to Montana and you look up at the sky and see the stars, you realize there is a reason we are called "The Big Sky" state. The sky really does seem so much bigger than any sky I have ever seen.
Now, whether you live in Montana or are a visitor of our beautiful state, there is one particular place that is always interesting and on the list for many to visit, at least one time.
On February 24th, you have the opportunity to celebrate Montana Day by heading over to the Museum of the Rockies (MOR) for free. Yes, completely free! You get to see everything the MOR has to offer including the latest exhibit, "Conserving America's Wildland's: The Vision of Ted Turner."
You will also have the opportunity to explore cultural and natural history exhibits, planetarium shows, children's exhibit, and the museum store. Montana Day has been an annual event for years, and this is one way that you can show your Montana spirit.
Montana Day's actual day of recognition is May 3rd, but we like to do things extra here in the Big Sky State. Montana, the 4th largest state, was the 41st state to join the union back in November of 1889.
Other fun ways to celebrate Montana is shopping local, checking out some local artists, and supporting our community. Montana is a beautiful state with so much to see and do, lets take care of the land and leave things the way nature wanted them to be.
