
Montana’s Signature Meal Might Surprise You
If I was to ask you what is the signature meal for Montana, what would you say? Pork Chop Sandwich? Pasty? Bison?
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of all of those, however, according to one source, that's not the states signature meal. The folks over at AOL came out with "the most delicious signature meal from every state" and when it came to Big Sky Country, some folks might be a little surprised.

Before we dive into what Montana's signature meal is, it should be noted that Montana has a long culinary history. Up until recently, we had the longest operating Chinese Restaurant in the United States and we already mentioned pork chop sandwiches and pasty's above.
It should be noted that we produce some of the best beef in the world, so is it steak? Well...kind of.

Highlander beer, and grizzly paws. Granted, I'm not a native, but I've lived here for years, and I've never had anything called a grizzly paw. Apparently it is some sort of sweet treat with toppings?

I've had some amazing meals here in Montana and not once did it include a chicken fried steak. Now, I've had some bison steaks that would melt in your mouth, and I've had elk burgers that were next level. What about you?
