It's part of our charm. In fact, all you need to have a town in Montana is a church, a post office, and a bar.

I was scrolling through social media, and I came across a post about a small bar for sale in a small Montana town.

It's a charming-looking building that comes with 2 bedrooms, 4 baths, and 1 bar, and the cost could be considered reasonable at 685 thousand dollars. Located in Cooke City, Montana, not only could you live in one of the coolest towns in Montana (literally), but you would also be a business owner.

Sound's great, right? Here's the problem: it's not real.

Thanks to the magic of AI, multiple people will be easily fooled into believing that this lovely building and business could be yours for a pretty reasonable price. According to Google, the Miners Saloon was at some point for sale sometime in 2025, but I didn't find a current listing.
