We are alllll way too familiar with the show Yellowstone. You either love it or hate it. A lot of folks put the blame for Montana’s population boom squarely on the Duttons’ shoulders. And if there’s one thing old-school Montanans don’t like, it’s change. Especially in the form of Californians packing up the car because they saw a TV show. But anyway, that’s not the point!

The new spin-off is filming here in Montana again. Yep, rumor on the street is they’re set up around Three Forks. I even stumbled across a random TikTok from someone working on set (tagged below). Do you recognize that valley? Because it sure looks familiar.

So what’s this new show, The Madison, all about? It follows the McIntosh family, a wealthy New York crew who suddenly finds themselves in the Madison River Valley of central Montana. Sounds like drama is on the menu. Michelle Pfeiffer leads the cast as mom to two daughters, played by Beau Garrett and Elle Chapman. While Patrick J. Adams plays the slick New York banker husband.

And here’s where you might come in. Word floating around is there could be opportunities to snag a spot as an extra. Last year Legacy Casting was the place to look. After searching through Facebook I did see a few folks talking about things like SAG sheets and body doubles needed. Nothing official has dropped yet (that I could find), but it sure sounds like something’s happening. So if you’ve ever dreamed of rubbing elbows with Hollywood while wearing Carhartt, keep your eyes peeled. Who knows… you just might end up on screen in the next big Montana drama.
