Does Listening To Country Radio Make You A Better Driver In Montana?
I realize this might be considered a silly question; however, before you dismiss it, please know that I have some facts to back it up.
Full disclosure, I do a morning radio show on a country station here in Montana. So, while this might seem like some sort of shameless plug (you can tune into Derek and Abby from 6 am to 10 am, Monday through Friday, on 100.7 XL Country), I assure you that is not my intention.

No, first and foremost, I care about your safety, and as you travel across this great state of ours (you can also download our app and listen anywhere, just search for XL Country), I want to make sure that you and your precious cargo get to where you're going.
Which music is the safest to listen to while driving?
A recent study by Casino Online took a look at the songs that cause the most accidents while driving, and according to the data, those who listen to country are either better drivers or have fewer accidents.
According to the research, Spotify took a look at the Top 100 Songs that cause the most accidents while driving, and not one single song was a country song. Now, I will admit that there are a couple of songs from Post Malone and Taylor Swift, but they're not the country songs from either artist.
Oh, and in case you're curious, the most dangerous songs you can listen to while driving are.
- 7 Rings - Ariana Grande
- Shape of You - Ed Sheeran
- Thinking Out Loud - Ed Sheeran
- Without Me -Eminem
- Starboy - The Weekend
Wow, two Ed Sheeran songs in the Top 5? Has anyone given any thought to the fact that maybe it's just that Ed Sheeran fans aren't very good drivers?

Either way, it seems like the best thing for you to do for yourself and your passengers would be to tune into a country radio station (100.7 XL Country)
