Montana is ranked 32nd when it comes to happiness. In fact, all of our surrounding neighbors rank higher on the happiness chart than we do. Idaho is ranked 10th, North Dakota is ranked 21st, South Dakota is ranked 13th, and Wyoming is ranked 30th.
