Popular Retailer To Close Two Stores In Montana.

Growing up, my Mom was totally into crafts. So, anytime we would go anywhere outside of our hometown, my brother and I would be forced to go into stores that we didn't want to go into.

If there was a craft-style store within a 50-mile radius, my Mom could sniff it out and that would result in at least an hour walking around being bored out of our minds. There were all of the fake flowers and fabrics, candles, and home decor stuff. It was a 13-year-old boy's worst nightmare.

Now that I'm older and married, it's my wife who loves these types of stores and while I don't put up the argument I did as a kid, I still do the occasional "eye-roll", however, if we're being honest, I enjoy them, but we'll keep that between us.

I bring this up because a popular store for crafters is closing down several locations across the country including two locations in Montana and while it may have a certain clientele, the truth is, those folks will be left without options.

Which major retailer is closing down locations nationwide?

JOANN's Fabrics has announced they will shut down hundreds of locations across the United States. JOANN's is just the latest national retailer to decide to close several of its brick-and-mortar stores. However, this could be difficult for those who enjoy sewing and crafting as JOANNs Fabrics is a popular place for those who enjoy crafting.

Plus, much of their merchandise isn't something you just want to buy online without being able to see in person.

Will any of JOANN's Fabrics locations close in Montana?

The answer to that question is yes, the company announced that they will close two Montana locations. The Butte location and the Helena locations will be closed, however, at this time, it seems that the Billings, Bozeman, Kalispell, and Missoula locations will remain open.
