Montana is a popular place.

Millions of people come to Montana all year round to enjoy everything that we have to offer. Whether it's to visit our National or State Parks, fly-fishing, hiking, camping, skiing, or one of the many other activities that we're famous for, Montana is certainly no longer the hidden secret it once was.

Of course, as the popularity of the state continues to increase, so does the popularity of many of the towns here in Big Sky Country. I mean, all of those people have to have a place to stay when they come to visit, and many Montana towns have seen a large jump when it comes to tourism.

The most popular town in Montana and number one on the list certainly didn't make the cheapest town list, but according to the folks over at Hotels.com, the top spot goes to Bozeman, Montana.

Home to Montana State University and with close proximity to Yellowstone National Park and some fantastic skiing, Bozeman has burst onto the scene in the last few years. Bozeman is one of the fastest-growing towns in America and has become popular among transplants and those looking to "get away" from it all.

Of course, not everyone will agree with this.

So in many ways, it offers the best of both worlds.
