Downtown Bozeman’s Biggest Winter Sale Is Back
For all you shoppers out there, or those who patiently wait for the sales to roll around, you might want to make plans to be in downtown Bozeman this weekend. I am not a huge shopper by nature. But if there is a serious bargain involved, I can be convinced to step out of hibernation pretty quickly.
Winter tends to be a quieter stretch for retailers in Montana. Fewer visitors, less foot traffic, and not nearly the summer crowds wandering Main Street. That slower season is exactly why Downtown Bozeman Association brings back a local favorite each year.
Winter Crazy Days returns February 20 through 22, 2026. The annual event takes place after the Presidents’ Day and Valentine’s Day rush and is designed to give locals a reason to shop small while scoring some impressive deals.
Throughout the weekend, downtown businesses will be offering major discounts, clearance pricing, and special promotions. Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops will also be joining in on the fun with dine-in and takeout offers. Each business sets its own hours, so if you are shopping, check with the stores you plan to visit.
Deals and Discounts Happening During Crazy Days
1. Bitterroot Bistro – $5 short rib nachos
2. Public Library – Used book sale; Saturday 10 AM – 5 PM & Sunday 1-5 PM.
3. Bozeman Spirits Distillery – 20% off spirit infused chocolates
4. Carlisle – Enjoy Golden Hour all weekend long!
5. Earth’s Treasures – 50% off all Mystery Boxes and Bags! (Limit 2 per person, per day)
