Bozeman is one of those places that just attracts people. Especially in the summer months.
As folks flock to Montana over the next few months to enjoy all we have to offer, it's important that those who live here are prepared for what's to come. Hundreds of thousands of tourists are about to invade the city on their way to places like Yellowstone, Glacier, and whatever adventures they have on their agenda this summer.

The roads will be crowded, downtown will be a maze of people, all the hotels will be booked, and the lines at our favorite restaurants will be long.
However, as annoying as that can be, it is important to remember that many local businesses are dependent on those tourists and their dollars, so while they can be annoying, they are also extremely important to our local and state economy.
Advice for those visiting Montana
Oh, and if you happen to be a tourist and are reading this, most Montanans are friendly, so feel free to interact with us. However, make sure that you are patient with those in the service industry this time of year, as it can get pretty busy.
Here's some friendly advice, make sure that you tip well, and feel free to buy those overpriced "Montana" t-shirts for all of your family and friends that couldn't make the trip. They'll thank you later.
