Bozeman Residents Invited To National Night Out To Meet Local Law Enforcement

For those who dedicate their lives to "Protect and Serve" we salute you.

The fact that there are men and women who are willing to put their lives on the line to serve us and our community, is a remarkable thing. And while, they don't always get the credit they deserve, there is a special event taking place that allows regular folks to not only meet these local hero's, but get to know them a little bit.

On Tuesday, August 4th from 5 pm until 8 pm at Bozeman Pond Park it will be National Night Out hosted by the Gallatin Country Sherriff's Office and the Bozeman Police Department.

The event is for the who family, but is a wonderful opportunity for kids to meet the people that protect our community. They will have a chance to chat with 911 Operators and there will be several different things on display such as vehicles, equipment, horses, and even a helicopter!

Oh, and here's a bonus, if you're thinking "well, that's during our dinner time", there will be several different food vendors at the event as well.

The event will be held on the South side of the park, and parking will be available on the street. For those who don't know where Bozeman Pond Park is, it is located at 550 South Fowler here in Bozeman.

It should be noted that National Night Out will take place in all 50 states and the country of Canada. Once again, the event will take place here in Bozeman, Tuesday, August 4th at Bozeman Pond Park.
