License Plate Design Competition
Earlier this year the Cascade County Deputy Sheriff Association held a competition for all students in the county, excluding those in the Great Falls public school system, in which they had to come up with a new license plate that represented Montana.
The Cascade County Deputy Sheriff Association received almost 80 different designs from students from all grade levels, but it was a senior from Cascade, Montana, who designed the winning plate that will be available to put on your car in the new year.
Proceeds From The Sale Will Benefit The Community
Nordika Goetze, a senior from Cascade High School, told KRTV News this about her winning design that includes Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park along with a morning cloak butterfly going through its life stages, plus a grizzly bear and a cutthroat trout:
“It's crazy to think that it will be on people's cars, and it will be, like, throughout the state, somewhere in Montana on someone's car."
You'll be able to put this new plate on your vehicle starting in 2025, and proceeds from the sale of these new plates will help the Cascade County Deputy Sheriff Association continue to fund programs such as ‘Shop with the Sheriff’ and ‘Stuff the Bus.’.
