Rodeo cowboys, cowgirls, and their families gathered in Billings Saturday night for the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame induction ceremony, held at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center.

Groundbreakers and legends in the industry were present, including Townsquare Media's own Aaron Flint. However, Flint wasn't at the shingding for a live broadcast or to interview rodeo dignitaries. Nope. This time around, Flint found himself in a different kind of spotlight as one of the Hall of Fame's newest members.

"It was an incredible honor."

Aaron was honored to be an inductee this year into the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame, recognized for his contributions to the sport in a new category this year: the Great Montana Western Media Award.

Aaron's voice can be heard across the state with his live, four-hour morning talk show, Montana Talks. Montana Talks is broadcast locally on KBUL AM/FM and across the Treasure State on affiliate stations from the Flathead Valley to the North Dakota border.

Flint has nearly 30 years of experience in broadcast, politics, and military service. He recently retired from the Montana Army National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel, after serving 20 years with multiple deployments overseas.

A devout family man and conservative voice, the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame recognized Flint for his continuous efforts to fight for Montana and his advocacy for the Western way of life so many of us enjoy in Big Sky Country.

Flint said, "When they first called me and told me that I would be getting inducted into the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame- I couldn't believe it. What a huge honor from some of the most salt of earth people you can meet."
