Illusionist Jay Owenhouse Puts His Life on the Line Every Time He Performs
I just got word that Jay Owenhouse, one of the world's best illusionists, (that means magician) will be on Dominick In The Morning Oct. 12. Ownenhouse, whose headquarters are in Bozeman, has the second largest touring magic show in America.
Owenhouse, who will be performing Saturday, October 14 at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse with shows at 4 and 8 p.m., is known for his tigers.
His show was voted "One of the Top 10 Live Shows in America" and is family friendly.
The Tokyo Times calls the elaborate production
"Truly Magic, a Must See!". Jay welcomes you into his mysterious world of wonder and the impossible. You will experience a night of grand illusions with the most amazing magic in the world, Bengal tigers up close, dangerous escapes, and inspiring storytelling. Seeing the Owenhouse family live is an evening that will leave you breathless with a feeling of childhood wonder, and reminder to us all when a family works together nothing is impossible!
My mom worked at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas for the Siegfried and Roy Show. She had to sign a contract promising not to tell how Siegfried & Roy did their magic. I would ask her - how do they make those lions and tigers appear and disappear? She claimed she had no idea, but everyone backstage knew there was a real danger working with killer animals.
Siegfried & Roy are gone, retired, they don't perform anymore since a white tiger ripped Roy's throat out, almost killing him on stage.
Jay Owenhouse's show is not only a great magic show, but Owenhouse is literally risking his life with every performance. That is very impressive to me, and you know I will be asking him about it when he is on the show
