Hotline For Montanans to Access Local Food Help
One in eight (11.8 percent) Montana residents live in households that can’t always afford enough food. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funds a toll-free hotline to make it easier for those in need to access food from both private and governmental resources.
The hotline can be reached at 1-866-3-HUNGRY or 1-877-8-HAMBRE (for Spanish) from Monday through Friday (6am to 6 pm).
Another invaluable resource is the Gallatin County Food Bank.
