You may be able to see Aurora Borealis in Montana this week!

The Space Weather Prediction Center indicates that the legendary sight will be visible much further south than usual. The Northern Lights will be visible across several states in the US. this week, including Montana, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Maine.

It sounds like the best time to seek out the Northern Lights is from 11 a.m. on May 16 through 2 a.m. on May 17.

If you plan on trying to catch a glimpse, you'll need to get away from the light pollution that you get in the cities. Take a drive out to somewhere isolated and look towards the northern horizon for your best chance at seeing the lights.
