Google Doodle Celebrates Anniversary of the Pony Express
Today's 'Google Doodle' celebrates the 155th Anniversary of the Pony Express. Prior to the creation of the Pony Express, letters from the East Coast took weeks, if not months, to travel to the West Coast. With the advent of the express, travel time for that same letter was reduced to just 10 days.
