11 new American citizens will take their oaths in one of the most dramatic settings in the country as a backdrop, Glacier National Park.

The U.S. Citizenship and Naturalization Service is holding the ceremony on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.

Glacier National Park spokesman Tim Rains said the ceremony is a fitting cap to the National Park Service's Centennial celebration.

"The 11 new citizens hail from countries all over the world," Rains said. "They come from Belarus, Canada, Chad, Germany, Mexico, the Philippines and Ukraine. They've been holding these ceremonies in lots of national parks across the country, and this is our month to host the ceremony here at Glacier National Park."

Rains said the ceremony will be held at the Apgar Village Amphitheater in the Apgar Campground, with Chief Judge Dana L. Christiansen of the Unites States District Court for the State of Montana administering the oath of citizenship.
