Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming (GSMW) are inviting all Girl Scouts, past and present, to join sister Scouts from across Montana and Wyoming to celebrate 100 years of the Gold Award. However, the celebration is fast approaching and participants must RSVP by noon, June 15th for one or all of the events.

While the name for the highest award in Girl Scouts has changed over the past century, the purpose has remained the same for Girl Scouts: to positively impact their community and world. GSMW will be celebrating the centennial of the Girl Scouts Gold Award with a three day celebration Friday, June 24 – Sunday, June 26 in Helena, Montana.

The weekend will begin with the Highest Awards Ceremony at the Montana State Capitol where Girl Scouts receiving Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards will be honored. Following the 2016 Highest Award Ceremony, Scouts and guests are invited to a BBQ at the Helena Fairgrounds. Registration is required but there is no charge for either the Award Ceremony or BBQ.
