Gallatin Valley Land Trust Needs Your Help – National Trails Day June 7th

The Gallatin Valley Land Trust is celebrating National Trails Day on June 7th!  GVLT is in need of volunteers to join them as they maintain and create new trails on the Main Street to the Mountains trail system.  This year's volunteer work projects will include building new trails at the Highland Glen Nature Preserve (across from the hospital) and resurfacing trails in Lindley Park (family friendly).

No registration or RSVP is necessary for this event. Simply show up at the Lindley Park Pavilion (just off E. Main St. on Buttonwood Ave.) at 9am.  Wear sturdy shoes, layers for weather, sunscreen, and gloves. GVLT will provide some tools, but if possible please bring shovels, rakes, and wheel barrows. A picnic lunch from Baja Fresh will be provided after crews are done at 12:30pm.
