The first snow storm of the season is heading towards the Bozeman area.  The storm is predicted to move into Montana on Thursday bringing rain. Friday night through Monday snow fall is expected. With this storm they are predicting:

  • Up to 4 inches of snow for Bozeman
  • Heavy snow above 6,000 feet - predicting 8 to 18 inches
  • Temperatures below freezing
  • Patchy blowing snow
  • Cold wind chill temperatures of 10 to 20 degrees

The Bozeman area is expected to be on the edge of the storm.  A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Northern Montana.  They are calling for 12 to 48 inches Friday night though Monday with a few places getting up to 4 feet.
