Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement recognizing Equal Pay Day, which signifies how far into the following year women must work to earn the same pay as their male counterparts did in the previous year:

“Paying women less than their male counterparts does not reflect our American values.  Today I call on Congress to move the Paycheck Fairness Act forward because women in Montana, and across the nation, deserve equality in the workplace.”
