Is Montana Location One Of The Deadliest Tourist Attractions?
If you plan to travel to one of Montana's many incredible attractions, please be safe when you visit.
Montana is a place that has many attractions that range from overrated to underrated places you should visit. Whether you are looking for family-friendly spots or an escape from tourists, Montana attractions can fit your vacation.
The only problem is one of Montana's most popular attractions is one of the deadliest attractions in the United States. You could probably guess which one.
Love Exploring put together a list of the Most Dangerous Tourist Attractions in the United States, and it's no surprise Montana had a spot on this list. One of the deadliest tourist attractions is the iconic Yellowstone National Park.
Yellowstone National Park is the oldest national park in America and is beloved by locals and tourists. The park usually sees over three million guests yearly, and people come from all over to check out the mountains, thermal sites, and wildlife that encompass the park.
Yellowstone is a deadly tourist attraction is because many tourists don't listen to tips or signs posted in the park and make horrible decisions. Recently, we have seen everything from tourists trying to get close to grizzly bears and bison to morons walking on the Grand Prismatic Spring and falling in.
Tourists think Yellowstone is a giant petting zoo, and signs to stay on the trails or boardwalks don't imply them. Montanans have seen the gambit of tourists acting like the rules and laws don't apply to them when visiting Yellowstone, and some of them have sadly paid the ultimate price.
Yellowstone National Park will be fully open in the coming months, and all the locals are wondering when the first case of tourists getting too close to wildlife will be. Our guess is probably in April.
