Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester and Congressman Greg Gianforte today announced an academy nominee offer of appointment at the U.S. Air Force Academy. James Baggett who lives in Hamilton, Montana has gotten the Academy okay.

“From working on the Montana Conservation Corp Expedition Team, serving on student leadership, and taking an active role in extracurricular activities, James has proven he can excel in many areas,” said Daines. “I know he would make Montana proud at the U.S. Air Force Academy.”

 

“James is an accomplished student, trumpet soloist, and athlete,” said Tester. “He was awarded the prestigious U.S. Air Force Falcon Scholarship and I have no doubt that he’ll make Montana proud at the Air Force Academy. Hopefully we can perform taps together some day.”

 

“Congratulations to Jimmy on his offer of appointment to the Air Force Academy. An outstanding, hard-working student, Jimmy will make Montana proud with his service to our nation. I look forward to watching Jimmy’s success continue to grow,” Gianforte said.
