There's a new weapon in the fight to protect our children in school.

Introducing the Bodyguard Blanket, a bulletproof blanket kids can wear like a backpack.

This commercial shows how it can come in handy during tornadoes or when a shooting occurs, although it takes nearly a minute-and-a-half before the blanket is even shown.

Each blanket, which is made from the same material used by the military, costs about $1,000.
