Bozeman’s Cactus Records is Moving Soon. Here’s How You Can Help
After 35 years of being located in downtown Bozeman, Cactus Records will soon move into a new location on the west side of town. The popular independent record store has been a staple in Bozeman for more than 50 years.
As many folks have heard by now, this summer our downtown location of the past 35 years was put up for sale by our landlords for a price well beyond our means. Because of this, we can no longer stay.
said Mike 'Bueno' Good, owner of Cactus Records.
Fortunately, Bueno was able to find another location that was for sale and was able to purchase the building.
Cactus Records is asking for help as they transition to a new location. Bueno wants to make sure that the staff at Cactus Records is taken care of while the business is closed for a couple of weeks.
If you'd like to help, a GoFundMe has been created to help cover expenses.
The primary goal of this GoFundMe is to provide a safety net for our staff during this uncertain time.
If you aren't able to donate, you can also stop at Cactus Records before the downtown location closes. All music, including vinyl, CDs, and cassette tapes that have been in stock for more than two months is 15% off. Also, you can find a large selection of clearance items at the front of the store. All clearance items are 40% off while supplies last.
