
Bozeman PD to Swear in Five New Officers
Tomorrow the Bozeman Police Department will be swearing in five new officers in the City Commission Room at Bozeman City Hall.
All five officers are currently receiving three weeks of initial training from the Bozeman Police Department. This training began on December 14. Three of the officers transitioned directly from another law enforcement agencies. They will begin the department’s fourteen week Field Training and Evaluation Program the following week.
The other two officers will begin the 12-week Montana Law Enforcement Academy in Helena on Jan. 4, 2016, followed by the department’s fourteen week Field Training and Evaluation Program.
Once their training is complete, all five officers will be assigned to the patrol division.
