A popular Bozeman business is frantically searching for a new location after being forced to relocate.

Genuine Ice Cream Co. is currently searching for a new permanent location. The current location at 411 W. Main St. was sold to developers earlier this year. Plans for redevelopment have been submitted and do not include Genuine Ice Cream Co. The business posted an explanation on its website.

Unfortunately, Genuine Ice Cream Co. plans to temporarily close on December 11, 2022, while the owners attempt to find a new location. A temporary location is expected to open on January 2, 2023, in their production kitchen, located at 141 West Baxter Lane (off of Jackrabbit & Baxter). Scoops won't be available at the temporary location, but you can still stock up on grab-and-go items such as pints, quarts, cakes, and waffle cones. You can also place special orders.
