How Busy Is The Bozeman Airport? Look At This
If you plan to travel through the airport any time soon, you might want to arrive a little earlier than usual.
People use the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport to fly to destinations all over the United States. There are daily flights to major hubs in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Montanans drive from all over the state to take advantage of the cheaper flights.
The real question is: how busy is the Bozeman airport compared to other national airports? Well, we now have an answer.
Simply Flying came out with a ranking of the Best and Least Recovering Airports in the United States, and Bozeman landed on the good side of the list, ranking number two in America for fastest growing airports.
The report uses statistics from October 2019 and October 2021 to see growth, and the Bozeman Airport has seen an almost 159% growth in two years. That number is only going to increase in 2022. The amount of passengers coming through the airport has been staggering.
Even though the passenger numbers might not compare to larger airports like Denver and Seattle, for Montana these numbers are outrageous. The Bozeman Airport has announced changes coming soon, like a new parking lot to help with the large influx of passengers, but even more changes may be needed.
The Bozeman Airport might want to throw around the idea of adding another extension to the current concourse. The many passengers coming in and out of the airport need places to sit, relax, and eat while they wait for their flights.
