Old Bobcat Scoreboard Gets New Home At High School

It currently sits in a field just to the east of a major construction project, but soon, the Montana State University Bobcats' old scoreboard will be on its way to its new home.The 60-feet-tall, 38-feet-wide scoreboard will be donated to the Bozeman Hawks, MSU Spokesperson Tracy Ellig said Monday.The scoreboard was torn down as part of the major renovation to the south-side of Bobcat Stadium. Martel Construction is the contractor for the construction. Ellig said the company was granted permission to do whatever it wanted with the old materials. Martel decided they would donate the board to the high school, Ellig said.
