Arrests Made in Convenience Store Shooting Incident

18 year-old Chase Munson, the second individual involved in a shooting incident at a convenience store at South Avenue and Higgins, was also charged with attempted deliberate homicide, and is also in the Missoula County Jail without bond. He will be seen along with Ivory Brien in Missoula Justice Court on Friday.

19 year-old Ivory Brien was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with attempted deliberate homicide in the shooting of two men inside a convenience store at the corner of South Avenue and Higgins on March 6.
The University of Montana Police Department received information regarding the shooting incident which led to warrants being served in Miller Hall on the UM Campus on Wednesday evening.
Two individuals were identified as being involved in the shooting. They are 19 year-old Ivory Brien and 18 year-old Chase Munson. Along with being arrested and charged with attempted deliberate homicide, Brien is also being referred to the UM Dean of Students for action.
Two men were wounded by gunfire during the incident, and both have been treated and released from St. Patrick Hospital.
Brien is being held in the Missoula County Jail without bond, and will appear in Missoula Justice Court on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
