A man was killed by a Montana police officer after allegedly threatening patrons at a casino. Identified as Shawn Michael Hubbard of Billings, he had a pellet gun and officers thought it was a semi-automatic pistol.
The Yellowstone County coroner's office said that 44-year-old Hubbard was killed by two gunshot wounds to the chest.

Authorities say he was involved in a domestic disturbance with his wife early Tuesday morning before going to the nearby casino. It was Billings' second fatal police shooting in just two days.

Hubbard had prior convictions for theft and drugs in Lewis and Clark County.
