This was the first grocery store I shopped at when I moved here and instantly fell in love with Bozeman.

So if you don't remember, back in November 2021 Heeb's Fresh Market on the East of Bozeman near the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital was purchased by Town & Country Foods. One local grocery store that had been part of the Bozeman community for years was purchased by another fantastic local grocery store that has been part of the Bozeman community. It's a win-win.

The thing is, even though Heeb's Fresh Market is now Town & Country Foods' eighth location serving Montana, Heeb's Fresh Market will always hold a special place in my heart. When I moved here to Bozeman, my first place was right next to Heeb's old location in downtown Bozeman and was the first place I shopped for groceries.

Heeb's Fresh Market was an old-school grocery store that had a lot of personality and Montana flair. Everyone who worked there was so kind and make me feel instantly welcomed to Bozeman.

Plus, Heeb's was a stellar place to grab lunch special. Heeb's Fresh Market would offer a different lunch every weekday that included the special, a cookie, a salad of your choice, and a drink for an incredibly affordable price. Their deli was a hot spot at all times of the week. My favorite was on the weekends when they would have a breakfast special of homemade sausage biscuits and gravy from scratch.

I know Town & Country Foods will keep most of Heeb's traditions, I want to thank Heeb's Fresh Market for being there for me and making me feel welcomed.
