A Chip Off The Ol’ Block? Probably Not

I Have to take a minute today to brag about my daughter Shelby, a Freshman at Belgrade High. Growing up I dreaded the "Parent Teacher" conferences...I wasn't a bad student, I just liked to have" too much fun". Sounds like a great title for a country song...Hmmm. We had parent teacher conferences in Belgrade last night, and were given our students report card upon arrival. Well, needless to say, it resembled NO report card I ever received back in Ashton, Ill.

Shelby got strait A's and a 4.0 GPA, and 2 of the 7 classes are "Honors" classes. She did awesome and I was, and am proud of her. Please take time to congratulate your kids for any level of anything they achieve. I also commend my wife Barbara for studying along with Shelby nightly, I guess alot goes on after I go to bed at 8pm.

Thank God for a Great Kid, A Great Wife and a Great Job in a Great place!!
