Looking to turn hate into acceptance, bitter rivalries into cooperation. and to have some old-fashioned Montana fun, Angel of 96-3 The Blaze is inviting everyone in Missoula to Caras Park to confirm one fact, that 'We Are Montana'.

The event is scheduled for Caras Park on Tuesday, November 15 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

"Being angry has become a little bit exhausting," Hughes said. "So, no matter what side you're on, or what you stand for, we're having a Missoula get-together to hug it out and just be peaceful for two hours. We all have different opinions, but at the end of the day, we're all still Montanans, and that being said, we all need to just stick together. Of course, we can be mad, but, for two hours, we'd like to not be mad."

The event was originally planned for John Toole Park, but Missoula Parks and Recreation asked that the event be moved to Caras Park where there is more room and there are adequate facilities available, like parking and rest rooms.

"We contacted all the other radio stations and the TV stations, and everybody and anybody is invited," she said. "We've reached out to the NRA, Moms Demand Action, liberals, Republicans. We don't have an agenda, we're not trying to sell anything or promote anything except just getting together for a couple of hours to forget about why we're angry."

Hughes said there will be some security on hand, just in case, but as she so eloquently put on her blog on 963theblaze,com, 'Jerks will be invited to leave.'
