5 Things to Do in and Around Bozeman This Weekend

Head downtown this weekend where over 200 businesses hold killer sidewalk sales with amazing deals on spring and summer merchandise. If you’re downtown over the next few days, you can’t miss it. Crazy Days runs from Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Collective Soul, Leftover Salmon, Beats Antique and many more are on tap to play this weekend in Ennis. Put on by Chamberlin Productions, this two-day event includes national headlining music, vendors and non-profits for a celebration of music in the great outdoors. The Running Lungs Race takes place at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Lindley Center. Runners and walkers will travel along the Gallagator Trail System to raise money for Mayo Clinic lung cancer research.  Organizer Linda Wortman was a healthy, active non-smoker who was suddenly diagnosed with lung cancer and rushed to surgery in 2008 at the Mayo Clinic. Now, her goal is to raise money for lung cancer research and awareness. There’s still time to sign up.

In its 12^th year, the Dog and Grog microbrew festival draws breweries from around the state to Virginia City this Friday and Saturday. Hosted by the Bale of Hay Saloon, festivities kick off Friday night and continue into Saturday.  Take advantage of the package deal and get eight tasters of beer, a polish dog and a commemorative glass.
