The Living History Farm at Museum of the Rockies opens the 2014 season on Saturday, May 24, at 9am, with plans for a summer-long celebration of its 25th Anniversary.

As part of the 25th Anniversary celebration, MOR will be offering free admission to the Living History Farm. Normally part of regular admission fees or MOR membership, this year the Farm will open up to all visitors without charge so that more people can experience Montana's homesteading history. Normal admission charges will still apply to the main Museum and Geckos exhibit.

MOR is also bringing an adult-focused monthly event to the Living History Farm called Hops & History. From 5 to 7pm on the last Tuesday of every month, beer from a different local  brewery will be served as visitors explore the long and diverse history of brewing in the Gallatin Valley and Montana. Admission to the Hops & History event is $5 and includes a free beer glass and beer tastings. The event is sponsored by Montana Ale Works Community Partnership. Guests must be 21 or older to participate.

Museum of the Rockies' Living History Farm is open daily from 9am to 5pm and will extend its 25th Anniversary season through September 21, 2014.
