Arab Nations Still Seeing Deadly Demonstrations

The Middle East is in quite an unrest. This Friday saw protests, violence and retaliation in four different cities. In Syria, protestors were fired upon by the government after they set fire to a statue of the country's late president. U.S. officials are calling for a stop to the violent handling of the protestors by the countries' governments.
"We will not forget the martyrs of Daraa," a resident told The Associated Press by telephone. "If they think this will silence us, they are wrong."
