The latest celebrity to publicly declare their support for flood victims in Montana is John Mayer, a part-time resident of the Paradise Valley south of Livingston. On Tuesday, Mayer urged fans on social media to help communities in Montana that have been impacted by flooding, particularly those communities that rely on tourism to survive.

In a Facebook post, Mayer said that he plans to return to Montana once he's done touring with Dead & Co. this summer in mid-July. He encouraged visitors to keep their summer vacation plans in Montana instead of cancelling, adding that there's much more to Montana than just Yellowstone National Park.

In addition, Mayer said that upon returning to Montana this summer, he has some amazing events planned that you won't want to miss. We're not sure what the events are yet, but we're guessing that they are intended to raise money for communities in Montana that are working to rebuild.

Here's what Mayer said;

I write today with a plea: if you were planning to visit Yellowstone and cancelled your plans, please, from the bottom of my heart, I ask that you rebook them. If you’re still making summer plans, please consider making a visit to Livingston Montana or a town nearby. I will be there after this tour is over and I look forward to seeing you there. I am planning some really amazing events that you won’t want to miss. I’ll be sharing more of what this incredible community has to offer, and you’ll see for yourself just why I fell in love with the place.

If you're a John Mayer fan, it sounds like there's a good chance that you might run into him this summer in the Livingston area.
