Montana’s General Election is Tuesday, November 4th

Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. (Bring your ID to vote!)
Make sure to check your polling location. Some locations may have changed; voters can find their polling location and directions through the My Voter Page.

Montanans can register to vote in person

Late registration is temporarily closed beginning at noon on the day before the election. It reopens on Election Day.

If you are voting by absentee ballot
Absentee ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day and can be returned to the county election office, designated late registration  locations, any polling place within the county (in person), or can be mailed to the county election office, but must be received by 8 p.m. on election day.  Postmarks are not accepted.

Unofficial results for federal, state and county races, and ballot issues.
Not available:  write-ins.
Results will be reported as they’re entered by counties, and remain unofficial until the official canvass is completed
