April 10, 2012 Watch the video starting from the 4:00 minute mark to get a full idea of what the video is showing. The camera takes an abrupt angle change around 4:40 to point up at the three (possibly four) objects. The commentator then begins to explain that the objects are reflections off of tin foil. March 23, 2012 Fourth Grade students of Bozeman's Emily Dickinson Elementary School were honored with choosing the first photos to be released from the two satilites, Ebb and Flow, orbiting the moon. The students won this honor by submitting the winning names, Ebb and Flow, for the two satellites in a national contest. The photo they chose gives a great depiction of the far side of the moon along with Earth just off the horizon. Two things you never get to see while stationed here on Earth.
March 23, 2012 I know quite a few people in Bozeman who refuse to lock their homes because they believe they can trust their fellow Bozemanites. Every once in a while though, this trust we have for our fellow neighbors gets rattled. Just this morning I got news that has rattled my trust nearly beyond reckoning. A female MSU student was sexually assaulted outside her home last night and authorities are looking to the community for any information on the suspect.

March 12, 2012 The website STDCarriers.com is a website that allows people to anonymously post a person's name, location, photo and what STD's the individual has. Does the finger pointer need proof the individual has an STD? Nope. How do you get your name taken off the website? Only by sending in proof that you do not have the supposed STD. I don't want to scare you, but your name could be on this site.
March 12, 2012 On the show Interviews Before Execution, interviewer Ding Yu sits down with a convicted murderer and gives the death row inmate one last interview before his/her execution. She did this once a week for five years on a Chinese state television network! I was shocked to hear there could be such a show on television.
March 12, 2012 I never really got into the America's Got Talent TV show. Probably because I was busy watching a sit-com opposite it on another channel. I would, however, watch the YouTube clips of the especially talented performers the next day. That being said, I would love to watch a live recording of the show. This Wednesday, Belgrade is hosting their third annual local version of the show at the Belgrade Lounge. It should be great judging by videos of last year which I've included inside.
March 8, 2012 As Bozeman was the first to incorporate the full body scanners in Montana, we should be celebrating the new security right? The new TSA body scanners were put into place to improve efficiency and heighten airline security. What if you were told these devices are actually easier to bypass than a metal detector? Where is the fair trade off of privacy for security then? This short YouTube video demonstrates how to easily sneak metallic objects through the scanners.
